In a situation where talented painters take over the position of office clerk but give up being artists in order to earn a much higher salary to make a living, it is because painting brings unstable incomes to them. If individuals do not prioritize a high-paid job, they may struggle with paying housing costs and medical bills, thereby pursuing a lucrative career is more essential than considering job satisfaction. Another factor contributing to this is that individuals often lack of self-knowledge. For instance, a significant portion of students make wrong decision in majors selection rather than choosing the one based on their personal preferences. Moreover, it is challenging for them stay in a workplace that they do not enjoy until they realize their passion.
