4. 老年人运动建议 Doctors recommend that older people should excersice regularly. However many of them do not exercise enough. What are the causes? What can be done to encourage them to exercise?
Nowadays, medical professionals suggest that the older generation should spend time working out regularly, but some of them exercise insufficiency. In this essay, I will discuss factors that affect the elderly’s daily sports routine and come up with two approaches to motive them.
The primary reason of older people lack motivation to exercise with a fixed-schedule is that their physical well-being has been declined with ages because of chronic diseases such as heart disease, obesity, and high blood sugar, which limited their daily basic movement. For example, If a 75 years-old lady with breathing difficulties decides to runs or jumps everyday, this person easily fall down while exercising because her respiratory system does not supply sufficient oxygen to support her breathing, increasing the possibility of getting urgent treatment. Therefore, a large amount of elderly people choose not to do physical practice frequently.
In order to motive seniors to exercise, the national authority should invest funding on installing local facilities such as inclusive or less competitive sports facilities. To be more specific, workout opportunities cannot be fully provided in some areas and then become an obstacle for seniors to exercise regularly. For example, seniors will feel motivate to participate regularly if the state can settable-tennis and other inclusive sports in local communities. In addition, the government offer resources to raise the elderly’s awareness of important of doing regular exercise such as hiring expires that are able to provide free lectures to local citizens. Consequently, people in their 70s or 80s start realizing that workout consistently can improve overall daily well-being and beneficial for their different organs.
In conclusion, many individuals in later years exercising inactive regularly because of their poor health conditions. However, by providing financial support to improve local facilities or allowing local citizens to attend free educational lessons can greatly motive seniors to participate in sports regularly.
