There is one person in my life whom I will never forget—my English teacher, Ms. Li. She is the person who changed my life in the most important way. Before I met her, I was shy, lacked confidence, and was afraid of speaking in front of others. I always thought I was not good enough, so I seldom tried new things.

Everything began to change when Ms. Li became my teacher in Grade Seven. She was kind, patient, and always encouraged me. Once, she asked me to give a short speech in class. I was very nervous and wanted to give up, but she smiled at me and said, “You can do it.” Because of her trust, I gathered my courage and finished the speech successfully. From then on, I started to believe in myself.

What Ms. Li taught me was not only knowledge, but also confidence and courage. She helped me understand that failure is not something to fear, and that every small step can lead to growth. Thanks to her, I have become more outgoing and willing to face challenges.

In my heart, Ms. Li is more than a teacher; she is a guide and a light in my life. I will always be thankful to her, because she truly changed my life for the better.
