The bar chart illustrates the number of households in US in years 2007, 2011, 2015, dividing by 5 group of people who earned different ranges of annual income.
It is clear that the number of households lived by people who earned less than $49,999 per year or more than $100,000 per year remained the top three rankings over the 8-year period, whereas those figures for rest groups stayed at the lowest rankings.
According to the bar chart, people who earned more than $100,000 per year owned highest number of households at nearly 30 million and 34 million in 2007 and 2015, respectively, whereas this top ranking was surpassed by the group whose annual income stayed within the range of $25,000-$49,000 at 30 million in 2011. Meanwhile, the number of households owned by this group ranked second in 2007 and 2015 at 27 million and 28 million, respectively, following by the figure for the group who earned less than $25,000 at 25 million, 28 million and 27 million in 2007, 2011 and 2015, respectively.
Moving to the figures for people who earned between $50,000-$99,999 per year, the data for people earned more than $50,000-$74,999 remained stable at 21 million during the period. However, the number of households lived by people who earned between $75,000-$99,999 climbed slightly from 14 million in 2007 to 15 million in 2015.
